Milla Jovovich was born in Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine to Bogdanovitch Jovovich (father, Serbian doctor), and Galina Loginova Jovovich (mother, Russian actress). In 1981, Milla and her family left the Soviet Union and moved to London, England and then to Sacramento, California, ultimately settling in Los Angeles.

Yves Rossy is a Swiss pilot, inventor and aviation enthusiast. He is both the first person to build and the first person successfully to fly a jet engine-powered wing strapped to the back.
