"Time Treasure: They have returned" is a location based augmented reality game that overlays game characters over objects in the real world. This awesome idea along with augmented reality applications like Layar and SixthSense, demonstrates the great potential of augmented reality applications.
The game is developed by MUVEDesign for Android Tablets and is planned for release in 2011. Film and music have been created by Gary Hayes, while some placeholder animations are from "World of Warcraft", courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment.
Without giving the plot away, the structure of this game is quite straightforward. There are ten layers of time from 2050 back to 5000BC that you slowly penetrate following stories, clues and trails all based at POIs (points of interest, precise locations) around your city.
