Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko has been cast as the female lead of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in the new 007 sequel "Quantum of Solace".
She previously appeared in Vincenzo Natali's five-minute contribution "Quartier de la Madeleine" to the European omnibus film "Paris, Je T'Aime" (2006) playing the creepy, unnamed vampire who enters into a blood-soaked love affair with a young American tourist played by Elijah Wood. Beside this, she appeared as Sofia in "Le Serpent" (2006), as Russian beauty Nika Boronina in "Hitman" (2007) and as Mina Harud in the indy surveillance-thriller "Tyranny" (2008). To recognize her achievements, Olga's native city Berdyansk is going to name a street in her honor.
